Centre Releases Over Rs 14,500 Crore in Tax Devolution to Northeastern States

The Central government released tax devolution funds to Northeastern states, including Rs 5,573 crore to Assam, Rs 3,131 crore to Arunachal Pradesh, Rs 1,276 crore to Manipur, and Rs 1,367 crore to Meghalaya. Other states such as Nagaland, Tripura, and Mizoram also received allocations. The funds aim to support capital spending and development projects during the festive season.
