Daylight Robbery at Astrologer’s House Sparks Security Concerns in Tezpur

A gang of robbers executed a daylight burglary at an astrologer’s residence in Tezpur, Assam, stealing ₹15,000 cash and gold worth ₹3 lakh.

Residents allege weak policing has emboldened thieves, who have targeted homes and vehicles in recent months. Earlier this month, burglars stole ₹10,000 and gold from a car in South Kamrup.
