Father files FIR against madrassa for ‘teaching his son racism’ in Assam

lodged a police complaint against the madrassa authorities for allegedly teaching its students racism and instigating them against other religions.
Shahab Uddin Khan, father of Sain Khan, a Class VIII student of Swadhin Bazar Islamia Madrassa, filed an FIR at Sonai police station against headmaster Maulana Abul Hussain Laskar and secretary Faqrul Islam Majumdar on November 11.

“The headmaster of the madrassa often calls my son to his room in the evening and provokes him against Hindus. He has tortured him on several occasions. When I came to know about this, I withdrew my son from the institute on October 20,” Shahab told media persons late on Tuesday.
In response to his FIR, Sonai PS registered a case under several sections of the IPC.

However, the management committee of the madrassa, which has 142 students, denied the allegations saying that they are fabricated and intentional.
