Former Assam Education Minister Ramani Barman Passes Away; State Mourns Loss

Veteran politician and former education minister of Assam, Ramani Barman, passed away on Monday morning in Nalbari after a prolonged illness. Barman, who served as the education minister in 1978, had a prior career as a professor in the Political department at Nalbari College before entering active politics. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed condolences over the demise of the esteemed former education minister.
