Guwahati Police apprehended three drug peddlers in the city

A team from the East Guwahati Police District conducted an anti-narcotics operation in the city, seizing 192 gms of suspected brown sugar and apprehending three people in connection with the narcotics. A woman was one of the three people apprehended by the police team.

On the evening of Wednesday, a team of officers from the Hatigaon Police Station in the East Guwahati Police District conducted an operation near Khanka, Parija Path, based on information about the presence of narcotic substances. During this operation, the team was able to recover 192 grammes of suspected brown sugar hidden in 15 soap boxes.
