Guwahati Police Bust Vehicle Scam Gang in Hatigaon

Guwahati police have cracked down on a gang of fraudsters operating in Hatigaon, targeting victims in a vehicle scam. The group enticed individuals into loan or lease agreements for their vehicles, promising to rent them out to legitimate organizations. However, they instead sold the vehicles in neighboring states. Priyanka, Amit Gupta, Jiyabur Rahman, and Manish Chetri were arrested, but several suspects remain at large. Investigations are ongoing.
