Guwahati Police’s Crime Branch Arrested a Female Official for Land Fraud

One more accused person has been arrested as a result of the Crime Branch of Guwahati Police conducting a thorough investigation into the case of counterfeit land documents. With this, there are now 14 persons detained in connection with the fraudulent land document scheme.

One woman was reportedly arrested on Tuesday by the Guwahati Police Crime Branch in relation to the land documents scam. The woman is Juri Sharma, and she is employed at the Chandrapur Revenue Circle office in the Kamrup (M) district as an extra writer and junior assistant. She was transferred to Chandrapur after working at the Dispur Revenue Circle office.
