IIT Guwahati Hosts Silver Jubilee Reunion for First Batch

IIT Guwahati hosted a Silver Jubilee reunion for its first batch (1995-1999) on Tuesday. Over 25 alumni attended the three-day event organized by the Alumni and External Relations office. Director Professor Devendra Jalihal welcomed the alumni, highlighting their achievements and the global impact of IIT Guwahati. The reunion included sessions on alumni contributions to student training, new facilities, and the institute’s development. A student-alumni workshop facilitated idea exchange and networking. The event also saw the announcement of the Gurudakshina programme by Professor Jalihal.
