Indian Drone Strikes Hit ULFA(I) Camps in Myanmar; Assam on High Alert

Indian forces launched precise drone strikes on Sunday targeting ULFA(I) camps in Myanmar’s Hoyat and Pangsau areas. ULFA(I) claimed 3 deaths and 19 injuries. NSCN/Yung Aung confirmed the attacks but didn’t report losses. Nearby Naga insurgent camps remained untouched.

The strikes followed intelligence inputs of ULFA(I)’s regrouping. Assam security forces are on alert for possible retaliation. The group’s operational commander was arrested in May, leading to major arms recovery.
