Junior doctors in Assam assault a tribal government officer

A police official said on Tuesday that an Assam government official in Cachar district was allegedly beaten with an iron rod by a group of junior doctors at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH).

In connection with the incident, the authorities suspended an intern doctor.
