Land Mafia Terrorizes Residents in Guwahati’s Khanapara

In Khanapara, Guwahati, a group of 10-12 miscreants reportedly broke into several homes, vandalizing property and forcing residents to flee. Suspected to be part of a land mafia, the attackers targeted families embroiled in land disputes. The affected residents claim ongoing harassment and threats from the mafia to vacate their homes. They approached Dispur Police Station to file a complaint, but alleged that their concerns were not taken seriously.
