Man Arrested with Rs 60.58 Lakh in Fake Currency in Gogamukh

A West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) team from ISBT OP of Gorchuk Police Station arrested Hafiz Ali (27) in Gogamukh for possessing a large stash of fake currency. Police seized 12 stacks of 116 counterfeit 500-rupee notes, amounting to Rs 60.58 lakh. Legal action has been initiated against the accused.
