Meeting held with Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu to improve Bodo medium schools

A meeting with Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu was held on Monday at the Janata Bhawan in Dispur by the All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU), Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS), and All Bodo Primary Teachers’ Association (ABPTA) with the aim of enhancing the educational facilities of Bodo medium schools.

The implementation of Bodo medium in secondary education institutions, school consolidation, hiring teachers for Bodo medium schools, and curriculum development for the language were among the topics covered at the meeting. The state government will do everything within its power to upgrade the infrastructure in areas dominated by Bodo and BTR, the minister of education pledged. Education officials were present at the meeting as well.
