Mild Earthquake Strikes Arunachal’s Shi Yomi

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit Shi Yomi, Arunachal Pradesh, at 2:38 PM on March 31, as per the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The tremor, at a 10 km depth, was the second in the Northeast in four days.

Earlier, a 3.8-magnitude quake struck Manipur’s Noney district on Saturday, following a 3.7-magnitude tremor in Chandel district on Friday. These tremors come after a 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar on March 28, which caused widespread destruction.
