Minor girl raped by her 60 year old uncle in Assam

A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her uncle in the Baksa area of Assam, in a startling and horrible occurrence.

The horrific event took place in the Simla area of Baksa.

After the horrifying experience, the girl’s family filed a formal complaint against the offender, which led to his arrest under the POCSO Act.

It should be noted that she was raped for nearly six months, during which time the accused threatened to keep his crime a secret from her.

The accused publicly admitted to his crime in front of the media after his arrest.
