Mountaineer Tapi Mra goes missing from Mount Kyarisatam: Arunachal Pradesh
Tapi Mra, the first mountaineer from Arunachal Pradesh to conquer Mount Everest, and his associate Niku Dao are still untraceable. It is more than a week that duo is not traceable.
Arunachal’s Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Mama Natung, said in a statement to the media that the Indian Army helicopters were called in but the operation was postponed owing to poor weather.
He has been missing ever since they embarked on expedition of scaling Arunachal Pradesh’s highest snow-capped peak ‘Khyarw Satam’ (6,900 metres).
