NHIDCL upgrades Highway 29: GHC orders land valuation reassessment within four weeks

The Gauhati High Court recently ordered the Valuation Officer (Income Tax) to assess individual plots of land and buildings being acquired for a highway project within four weeks.

The court stated that the valuation of the trees, plants, and crops attached to the plots of land in question has already been completed as per an order issued earlier on May 2, 2023, and a valuation report has also been submitted. As a result, no further action is required, according to the court.
