Kuki Militants Attack CRPF Post in Manipur, Intense Gun Battle Ensues

Kuki militants launched a major attack on a CRPF post in Jakuradhor, Jiribam District, Manipur, around 3 pm. The attackers also targeted the nearby Borobekra Police Station. Security forces responded immediately, leading to a fierce gun battle lasting 40-45 minutes. CRPF Constable Sanjeev Kumar was injured and rushed to Silchar Medical College for treatment.

After the fight, security forces recovered 10 militant bodies and a large cache of weapons. A curfew has been imposed, and reinforcements have been deployed to secure the area.
