One dead, several houses collapsed by Severe storm in Karimganj

Several houses were damaged after a severe storm hit several places in Assam’s Karimganj district on April 21. According to the district administration, one person died, and many trees and electric poles were uprooted in the storm-affected areas.

A 7-year-old child died and more than 400 houses were affected in Karimganj district on Friday after a severe storm hit the State. Patharkandi Revenue Circle Officer, said that as per the initial report as many as 428 families of five Village Panchayats of Patharkandi have been affected in the storm.
