Poacher Arrested in Joint Operation Near Orang National Park

In a successful joint operation by the forest protection force and Darrang Police in Assam, a poacher planning to kill rhinos in Orang National Park and Tiger Reserve was arrested. The suspect, Hussain Ali (35) from Bhabapur village near the park, confessed during interrogation that he and his associates planned to kill a rhino on Friday night using a .303 rifle. A case has been registered, and search operations for the remaining gang members and their weapons are underway.
