Record-Breaking Tourist Influx Boosts Revenue at Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve

Assam’s Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve have experienced an unprecedented surge in tourist numbers during the ongoing 2023โ€“2024 season. With a total of 1.08 lakh visitors, both domestic and international, the park has generated an estimated revenue of Rs 4.58 crore. The park, which opened its doors on October 15, 2023, witnessed a steady increase in visitors each month, with 17,662 in October, 40,242 in November, 65,000 in December, and 52,000 in January 2024. This surge marks a significant economic boost for the renowned wildlife destination.
