Six Killed in Manipur Attack; CM Vows Justice

Suspected Kuki militants killed six people, including three women and three children, in Jiribam, Manipur. Chief Minister N. Biren Singh condemned the “barbaric act,” promising swift justice.

The victims were missing since November 11 after an attack on a camp for internally displaced persons. Security forces neutralized 10 militants during the assault.

To curb violence, the central government deployed 20 additional CAPF companies, with 50 more on the way. Singh urged public unity, calling the killings “crimes against humanity” and pledging peace and justice for the victims.
