STF Assam Nabs Married Couple in Khanapara, Seizes 35.5g of Suspected Heroin

The Special Task Force (STF) in Assam apprehended a married couple, Krishna Nath (28) and Bani Nath (28), in Khanapara under Dispur PS Jurisdiction, seizing 25 vials containing suspected heroin weighing 35.5 grams during a raid on Tuesday. Acting on intelligence inputs, the STF conducted the operation and also recovered Rs 9,200 in cash, three mobile phones, a lighter, and a headphone from the possession of the habitual drug peddlers. The arrested couple, residents of Khanapara, Bhagavatpur, PS: Dispur, Guwahati, Kamrup (M), is now in custody.
