The Guwahati Jal Board has received the SKOCH Award

The prestigious SKOCH Award has been bestowed upon the Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water and Sewerage Board, also known as the Guwahati Jal Board.

The Guwahati Jal Board received the award for its e-governance/IT initiative “GIS Integrated Portal for Consumer Management,” which was chosen from a panel of entries on behalf of the SKOCH Award 2023 through presentations and expert committee evaluation. Smti. Panchami Choudhury, Secretary of Guwahati Jal Board, and Anurag Rudra, Officer on Special Duty, Guwahati Jal Board, accepted the award on behalf of the board at an award ceremony in Delhi. The Guwahati Jal Board’s push for IT/e-governance is intended to make the end-user experience paperless and completely digitised.
