To the CM, Debabrata Saikia, make sure the winter session is held before the budget session

In a letter to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Leader of the Opposition Debabrata Saikia urged him to set the dates for the Assam Legislative Assembly’s (ALA) winter session.

Saikia stated in the letter, “The Governor’s Secretariat has not yet published the schedule of the annual winter session of the ALA. A proposal regarding fixing the date for the winter session was sent to the government of Assam by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and also a proposal was sent to the Governor.”
