Traffic Restrictions and Parking Guidelines Issued for Guwahati Cricket Matches

In preparation for upcoming matches at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati, vehicular movement restrictions have been imposed for May 15 and 19, 2024. Commercial goods carrying vehicles and slow-moving commercial vehicles are prohibited on specified roads from 3 PM to midnight on match days. A.K. Azad Road will be one-way, facilitating traffic flow for spectators, with diversions in place. Only vehicles with car passes will be permitted on certain routes, while parking regulations are enforced along designated stretches. Emergency vehicles and essential services remain unaffected by the restrictions. Parking areas have been allocated strategically to accommodate attendees arriving from different directions. These measures aim to streamline traffic and ensure smooth access to the stadium during the cricket matches.
