Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Campaign in Guwahati Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Guwahati on April 29, 2024, ahead of the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Shah plans to hold a roadshow in support of BJP candidate Bijuli Kalita Medhi for the Guwahati Lok Sabha constituency. The Kamrup Metropolitan District Magistrate has announced restrictions, declaring certain roads as “no drones, no firecrackers, and no fly zones” along the route from the airport to Lal Ganesh. Shah’s roadshow is expected to cover nearly 2 km from Cycle Factory to Lal Ganesh.
