4 Manipur MLAs urge Shah to nullify Kuki ceasefire deal

A day after 34 Manipur legislators requested Union home minister Amit Shah to abrogate the ceasefire pact signed with Kuki militant groups, 4 BJP MLAs on Thursday raised a similar demand.

This comes at a time when a large number of civil bodies, NGOs and local clubs of the valley districts have accused the Kuki militants of torching Meitei villages and targeting innocent civilians in the ethnic clashes that unfolded in the state from May 3.
