Protests on to oppose Manipur Kuki MLAs’ demand for separate admin

A large number of people are demonstrating at various places in the valley districts since Monday in protest against the 10 Manipur Kuki-Chin-Mizo-Zomi MLAs’ demand for a separate administration for their community and seeking restoration of peace and harmony.

Under the aegis of the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), people, mostly women, staged sit-ins in various parts of Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur districts.
