Aaranyak’s “Rhino Goes to School” Campaign Educates Hundreds of Students on Rhino Conservation

Aaranyak’s flagship initiative, “Rhino Goes to School,” reached over 400 students across three schools near rhino-bearing areas in Assam. In collaboration with Orang National Park & Tiger Authority, engaging programs were conducted, educating students about rhinos’ characteristics, habitats, and their ecological significance. Interactive sessions, including open quiz contests and visual presentations, enhanced awareness about rhino conservation and local flora and fauna. The campaign, supported by the UK-based David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, aims to instill conservation values among students, emphasizing citizen responsibility in wildlife preservation and ecosystem balance.
