Youth Apprehended in Connection to Girl’s Suicide in Bamunimaidam

Police apprehended a youth on Wednesday in connection with the suicide of a young girl in the Kushal Nagar locality of Bamunimaidam on Tuesday. Following the incident, the victim’s family lodged an FIR with Chandmari Police Station, leading to the registration of case number 163/24.

The victim’s mother revealed that the girl took the extreme step due to love-related issues. The apprehended youth, identified as Sahidul, had previously been arrested for the abduction of the girl and had faced imprisonment under Section 366 (A).
