Kaziranga National Park Generates Rs 65 Lakh in October as Tourism Season Kicks Off

Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve saw a promising start to the 2024-25 tourism season, earning around Rs. 65 lakh in October from 29,000 tourists. Of these, 28,401 were domestic visitors and 579 were international. Jeep safaris began on October 1, while elephant safaris were inaugurated on November 1. Last season, Kaziranga welcomed a record 3.27 lakh visitors and earned Rs. 8.81 crore. After being closed due to monsoon floods, the park is ready for another successful season.
