AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam Arrested for Remarks on Pahalgam Terror Attack

AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam was arrested by Nagaon police for claiming the Pahalgam terror attack was a government conspiracy. He faces sedition and other charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said the video appeared to defend Pakistan. AIUDF called the arrest an attack on free speech.
