Northeast Community Holds Candlelight March in Delhi, Demands Justice for Manipuri Musician

New Delhi: Members of the Manipuri and wider Northeast communities held a candlelight march in southeast Delhi on Monday, demanding justice over the death of musician and music teacher Chongtham Vikram following an alleged assault in Kilokari.
The protesters marched from Sunlight Colony Police Station to Chauhan Park, calling for strict action against those responsible. Police have registered an FIR under Sections 103(2) and 3(5), and the accused have been identified and arrested. Police have not established any racial motive so far, while the investigation continues.
