Guwahati Hotel Shooting: Victims’ Families Demand Strict Punishment for Accused

Guwahati: Grief and anger have followed the shooting at Hotel Bilas Inn, with relatives and friends of the victims demanding strict punishment for accused Ghanakanta Gogoi. Rubul Ahmed, a childhood friend of deceased Devarshi Kashyap, expressed shock over the tragedy and called for swift justice.

Meanwhile, relatives of another victim, Helena Bharali, alleged that the shooting stemmed from a property dispute involving unpaid hotel lease dues. They also claimed the attack was premeditated. The incident has devastated the victims’ families, reportedly leaving two young children without their parents.
