An inmate hanged himself at Jalukbari Police Station

Unexpectedly, an inmate at the Jalukbari Police Station which is part of the Guwahati Police Commissionerate’s West Police District—reportedly hanged himself to death. Jeherul Islam was the person’s name. The Jalukbari Police accused him of stealing and took him into custody at night. To continue with the legal process, a magistrate and senior Assam Police officials visited the police station.
