In Guwahati, a vehicle catches fire

It has been reported that a car in Guwahati caught fire while being driven over the Beharbari flyover. Despite the fact that the people inside were able to escape, the accident totally destroyed the car. The owner stated that the car had recently been sent for maintenance, so it’s possible that some of the car’s faults contributed to the incident, though the precise cause is still unknown.

The car owner, which is from the Kahilipara area of Guwahati, was reported to have caught fire shortly after they stopped to investigate a bad smell they noticed while driving. A team from the emergency services and fire department extinguished the fire successfully.
