Assam Launches Online Portal for Teacher Transfers Across Districts

The Assam government has introduced an online portal for inter-district teacher transfers. Announced by Education Minister Ranoj Pegu, the policy allows teachers with 10 years of service, and differently-abled teachers with 2 years, to apply. The portal reopens tomorrow and stays open till April 30. Transfers aim to be completed during summer holidays for smooth implementation.
