Assam Police Special Task Force arrests 12 drug peddlers in Guwahati

On Monday, a team from Assam Police’s Special Task Force (STF) apprehended 12 drug peddlers in a single operation.

According to reliable sources, an STF team conducted an operation on Monday at the parking area of Guwahati Railway Station, under the jurisdiction of Panbazar police station. During the operation, the team apprehended 12 drug dealers, four of whom were women. According to sources, all of the arrested offenders were caught red-handed, along with 104 vials of suspected heroin, 275 empty vials, Rs 45,000 in cash, two scootys, five mobile phones and syringes, and other incriminating materials. According to the source, the arrested individuals and seized items will be turned over to City Police for any necessary legal action.
