At the Guwahati Press Club, a novel titled ‘Camouflage’ was released

Hiren Gohain, a well-known litterateur, released a novel titled ‘Camouflage’ by Juri Bora Borgohain on Sunday at the Guwahati Press Club. The book delves into the history of terrorism and its effects on Assam and the Northeast.

According to a press release, people in Assam and the Northeastern states are no strangers to terrorism or, as the rebels prefer to call it, armed struggle, and a generation has seen or felt the consequences. It is impossible to estimate how much the people of the region have suffered in general. Those who live in the provinces have felt it more acutely, and stories abound of various experiences, pain, and suffering brought on by it. Such stories are told in ‘Camouflage,’.
