A gold chain was stolen from an elderly person in Guwahati’s Beltola area

On Sunday morning, bike-riding miscreants stole a gold chain from an elderly woman, in what has become a common occurrence in the city. The incident occurred in Guwahati’s Beltola neighbourhood.

The incident occurred while the victim, identified as Lakshmi Devi, was out for a morning walk, according to sources. Two biker thugs snatched her gold chain, their faces hidden behind helmets.
