BIEO arrested 2 and seized large consignment of illegal liquor in Guwahati

The Bureau of Investigations for Economic Offences (BIEO) launched an enforcement campaign against the illegal sale of spirits. The raid took place at Raj Dhaba in Lalmati. According to sources, during the raid, a large amount of illegal liquor was recovered, including seven cartons of whisky and a large number of beer bottles that were hidden.

In this regard, two people have been detained: Mithun Nath and Mafizuddin. Officials have been unable to apprehend the dhaba’s owner because he is on the run.
