Body of Missing Teen Recovered from Brahmaputra

The body of 17-year-old Musharraf Alam, who went missing in the Brahmaputra River during Bihu, was recovered today between Panpur and Silghat by a forest department patrolling team. Musharraf had drowned while attempting to rescue a friend. Rescue operations by SDRF and NDRF, supported by locals, continued for four days. The victim’s family confirmed the body’s identity.
