Despite ongoing efforts, Guwahati city roads remain undeveloped

Guwahatians have been witnessing road repair work for several years, but the problem is that the work has yet to be completed. Roads are dug up one after the other, repaired in a few months, and dug up again in a few days.

Several areas of the city, including Hatigaon, Rukminigaon, Nayanpur, Hengrabari, GMC road, and many others, have experienced this problem in recent years. Although authorities claim to be working on repairs, the work never appears to be completed, and residents of the city continue to suffer as a result.
