During a morning walk, the mobile phone of Assam DIG snatched

The mobile phone of deputy inspector general (law & order) Vivek Raj Singh was snatched on Sunday by motorcycle-borne miscreants while he was out on his morning walk, officials said.

The incident raises the question of common people’s security in the city and fuels their apprehensions when a top police officer himself becomes the victim of such a crime.
