Gauhati Special Court Convicts 34 in APSC Cash-for-Job Scam

The Gauhati Special Court convicted former APSC chairman Rakesh Paul and 33 others in the APSC cash-for-job scam on Monday. The scam, involving bribes for Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) positions, surfaced in 2015-16. The case focused on irregularities in the 2013 ADO recruitment process. After extensive investigations and legal proceedings, 34 accused were found guilty, while 10 were acquitted.
