Guwahati Police have apprehended two more people in connection with cybercrime

Guwahati Police have arrested two more people from outside the state in connection with the city’s cybercrime syndicate. After two days of questioning, the police arrested them. In connection with the recent crackdown on cybercrime cells operating in the city, Chandmari Police arrested Prabhadweep Singh from Punjab and Garbhit Jain from Delhi.

They’d come to town to check on Rajen Sidana and Mahendra Chanda, two of the defendants in the same case. Rajen Sidana and Mahendra Chanda were previously arrested in connection with the mysterious death of a Meghalaya girl.
