Guwahati records the hottest September day in history with a scorching 38.2°C

On September 4, Guwahati experienced the hottest September day on record, forcing residents to endure sweltering temperatures. A scorching 38.2°C was recorded, breaking the previous record of 37.8°C set on August 29.

The scorching 39.4°C maximum temperature in Silchar broke the previous record of 39.2°C set on September 2.
