Guwahati Resident Loses ₹3.3 Lakh in Online Scam

Another online scam has surfaced in Guwahati, where Junmani Kalita from Zoo Road was defrauded of ₹3.3 lakh through a dubious app called QNET. Lured by promises of a ₹5 crore return over five years, Kalita invested based on a friend’s suggestion. Realizing the fraud, he is now preparing to file a case against the friend. This incident underscores the growing issue of online scams in the city.
