IMD Issues Rainfall Predictions and Weather Warnings for Northeast India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light to moderate rainfall across various states of Northeast India. Expectations include rain in most places in Arunachal Pradesh and a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura. Additionally, warnings for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds have been issued in isolated areas, with wind speeds reaching 30-40 kmph. Heavy rain is anticipated in isolated areas of Arunachal Pradesh. In Guwahati and neighboring regions, a partly cloudy sky with occasional rain or thundershowers is expected, with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 34°C.
